Draft guiding principles
"Extreme poverty and human rights: the rights of the poor

The Sub-Commission on the promotion and protection of human rights during the 58th session in August 2006 approved a resolution containing "Draft guiding principles" on human rights and extreme poverty (see p. 5-17).
The NGO ATD Fourth World has actively collaborated in compiling this text. New Humanity, in particular the representative in Geneva, invited by ATD, has also taken part to the preparatory meetings.
