Project title aims to underline partners desire to redefining the Europe – Africa relations on a new horizontal dimension after the “vertical” colonial framework; “AFR.E.S.H.” will represent an acronym meaning: “Africa and Europe Same Horizon” in order to highlight how the two continents shall cooperate to face global challenges like migration flows, climate change, inequalities and conflicts.
Objectives
- Increase leadership attitudes of African and European young people, to become capable to play the role of active citizens for their communities through 5 complementary educational programs fostering emotional and relational skills, communication and digital competences, awareness of civic participation tools.
- Reinforce the transnational cooperation among Civil Society Organizations from Africa and Europe, their social impact and sustainability with a youth oriented approach, foreseeing international online exchanges to share best practices, intercultural perspectives and take into account local implications of global challenges.
Considering the wide dimension of the network and the different educational programs activated, the project will directly involve 1250 young participants and 125 youth.
