Working across borders and generations, we facilitated dialogue between cultures, supported youth leadership, and represented local perspectives in international institutions. From community initiatives to global forums, we advanced efforts toward a more united world.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"433\" data-end=\"472\">Our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/2024_New-Humanity-Annual-Report_EN.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Annual Report<\/a> <\/strong>compiles a comprehensive overview of our activities throughout the year. Here are five highlights:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"701\" data-end=\"751\"><strong data-start=\"701\" data-end=\"751\">1. Youth rising: from Genfest to global action<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"753\" data-end=\"1248\">More than 4,000 young people from across continents gathered in Brazil for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/en\/youth-for-a-united-world\/towards-genfest-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"828\" data-end=\"844\">Genfest 2024<\/strong><\/a>, a festival of intercultural dialogue, performances, and workshops. The event sparked new global networks and initiatives, including the youth-led report <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/en\/united-nations\/new-humanity-ngo-elevates-genfest-proposals-at-unaoc-global-forum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em data-start=\"999\" data-end=\"1063\">\u201cTogether to Care \u2013 For Our Human Family and Our Common Home.\u201d<\/em><\/a><\/strong> Supported by UN figures like Miguel \u00c1ngel Moratinos (UNAOC) and Felipe Paullier (UN Youth Office), the document calls for a high-level forum to include youth in global decision-making.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1250\" data-end=\"1510\">In parallel, young people took the lead through projects such as <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/en\/project\/afr-e-s-h\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AFR.E.S.H.<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.milongaproject.org\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MilONGa<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/en\/project\/heartmony\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HeARTmony<\/a><\/strong>, and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/en\/project\/mediterranew\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MediterraNEW<\/a><\/strong>. In 2024 alone, 10 local initiatives were led by youth across continents \u2014 from promoting ecology and peace to co-designing public policies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"1770\" data-end=\"1808\"><strong data-start=\"1770\" data-end=\"1808\">2. Citizens at the heart of Europe<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1810\" data-end=\"2327\">The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/en\/dialogue\/final-conference-of-the-dialogue-project-presents-and-discusses-recommendations-created-by-4-dialogue-groups-in-the-european-parliament\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DialogUE project culminated in a landmark event at the European Parliament<\/a><\/strong>, where 50 citizen delegates presented their policy recommendations directly to EU representatives. Over two years, more than 250 people from 10 European countries and diverse backgrounds participated in local dialogue sessions on ecology, social justice, and disinformation. These discussions were compiled into the \u201cDialogUE kit\u201d to guide future policies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"2334\" data-end=\"2370\"><strong data-start=\"2334\" data-end=\"2370\">3. Voices that move institutions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2372\" data-end=\"2749\">In 2024, New Humanity advocated at global institutions for policies grounded in fraternity and shared responsibility. At the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/en\/forum-of-catholic-inspired-ngos\/new-humanity-in-geneva-4-interventions-to-human-rights-education-and-development\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"2499\" data-end=\"2538\">UN General Assembly high-level week<\/strong><\/a>, we contributed to strategic meetings on youth, education, and global citizenship. At <a href=\"https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/en\/dialogue\/discussing-interfaith-dialogue-at-unesco-how-interfaith-dialogue-is-building-inclusive-and-peaceful-societies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"2625\" data-end=\"2635\">UNESCO<\/strong><\/a>, we highlighted the role of education in building peace. At the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/en\/dialogue\/final-conference-of-the-dialogue-project-presents-and-discusses-recommendations-created-by-4-dialogue-groups-in-the-european-parliament\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"2700\" data-end=\"2706\">EU<\/strong><\/a>, we supported inclusive policy dialogue. Altogether, we organized eight international events and webinars, bringing grassroots stories into institutional spaces.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"3070\" data-end=\"3094\"><strong data-start=\"3070\" data-end=\"3094\">4. Faith in Dialogue<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3096\" data-end=\"3335\">We deepened partnerships with faith-based organizations and supported over 150 young people and faith leaders in using media and storytelling to build bridges.&nbsp;In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/en\/dialogue\/discussing-interfaith-dialogue-at-unesco-how-interfaith-dialogue-is-building-inclusive-and-peaceful-societies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"3436\" data-end=\"3445\">Paris<\/strong><\/a>, at UNESCO\u2019s International Peace Conference, we shared interfaith education initiatives from Pakistan and Slovenia. And in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/en\/fao-en\/zero-hunger-generation-and-the-right-to-food-between-deprivation-and-waste-event\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"3571\" data-end=\"3579\">Rome<\/strong><\/a>, we joined a roundtable on the right to food, addressing hunger and food waste with examples from Italy, Lebanon, and Brazil.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"3713\" data-end=\"3746\"><strong data-start=\"3713\" data-end=\"3746\">5. A Growing Global Community<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3748\" data-end=\"3953\">Our global network of volunteers, partners, and communities grew stronger, especially in Africa, the Mediterranean, and Latin America. We launched the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedworldproject.org\/en\/united-world-community\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"3971\" data-end=\"3997\">United World Community<\/strong><\/a>, a new online platform connecting individuals and organizations to learn, collaborate, and take action together. More than 500 people have already joined, co-creating new initiatives towards unity.
