{"id":2023,"date":"2014-04-01T09:28:48","date_gmt":"2014-04-01T07:28:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/projects\/let-s-bridge\/let-s-bridge-portugal\/"},"modified":"2019-12-27T17:55:49","modified_gmt":"2019-12-27T16:55:49","slug":"let-s-bridge-portugal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/en\/non-classifiee\/let-s-bridge-portugal\/","title":{"rendered":"Let&#8217;s Bridge &#8211; Portugal"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Yes to Europe, to Joy, to Hope and to the City<\/h1>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/events\/roma-events\/roma-assemblea-2013-dei-soci-di-new-humanity\/\"><\/a>As part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/en\/projects\/let-s-bridge\/let-s-bridge\/\">Let&#8217;s Bridge<\/a> Project, the &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.focolares.org.pt\/jovens\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Movimento Juventude Nova<\/a>&#8221; involved around 300 youngsters in a series of activities all over Portugal, on the<strong> issues of\u00a0 European citizenship,\u00a0 fraternity and intercultural dialogue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, the &#8220;<strong>Yes to Europe<\/strong>&#8221; initiative of 12th\u00a0 May 2012, saw around 150 young participants keenly encouraging the citizens of Lisbon to be players in a Europe which is more alive, more united and expresses greater solidarity.<\/p>\n<p>From 5th\u00a0 to 12 May 2012, ten youngsters from Fatima and Lisbon put on the theatrical show &#8220;<strong>Yes to Joy and Hope<\/strong>&#8220;. Almost 3,000 spectators were present for the final performance.<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>Lastly, on 29th\u00a0 and 30th\u00a0 September, Abrigada hosted &#8220;<strong>Me, Us, the City<\/strong>&#8221; an event to foster in a group of a hundred or so adolescents a new sensitivity about living one&#8217;s own city in a\u00a0 responsible way.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"index.php?option=com_docman&amp;task=doc_download&amp;gid=126&amp;Itemid=165\" class=\"doclink\">\u00a0Summary of &#8220;Movimento Juventude Nova&#8221;&#8216;s initiatives (Italian)<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yes to Europe, to Joy, to Hope and to the City As part of the Let&#8217;s Bridge Project, the &#8220;Movimento Juventude Nova&#8221; involved around 300 youngsters in a series of activities all over Portugal, on the issues of\u00a0 European citizenship,\u00a0 fraternity and intercultural dialogue.
