The statement of New Humanity has been presented by Mrs Chantal Grevin &#8211; the main Representative of New Humanity in Paris &#8211; in occasion of the <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/www.ngo-unesco.net_en_pdf_Forum_Women%20-%20Programme%20provisional%20EN%20.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fourth Forum of NGOs in official partnership with UNESCO<\/a>, which was centered on this theme.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"index.php?option=com_docman&amp;view=document&amp;alias=146-project-femmes-educatrice-de-paix-paris-30-juin-2015&amp;category_slug=droit-au-d\u00e9veloppement&amp;Itemid=132&amp;lang=en\" class=\"doclink\">Download the Field of Actions Presented by Mrs Grevin<\/a> (French)<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>Mrs Grevin presented the &#8220;Woman: Educator of peace&#8221; Project, delivered by Koz Kazah Association &#8211; partrner of New Humanity &#8211; in <strong>Shubra, one of the porrer districts of El Cairo<\/strong> (Egypt). This project was born in 2013 and involves 90 young women in a long series of activities, in order to promote their rights and to develop their potentialities.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" alignright size-full wp-image-2295\" style=\"margin: 5px 0px 5px 5px; float: right;\" alt=\"Quatrieme forum ONG en partenariat avec lUNESCO 2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/images_Parigi_Quatrieme_forum_ONG_en_partenariat_avec_lUNESCO_2.jpg\" height=\"129\" width=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/images_Parigi_Quatrieme_forum_ONG_en_partenariat_avec_lUNESCO_2.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/images_Parigi_Quatrieme_forum_ONG_en_partenariat_avec_lUNESCO_2-300x194.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/>As a consequence of this project, <strong>the women involved reached a better awareness of their capacity in supporting the poorer<\/strong>. The Egyptian Ministery for Environment aknowledged its patronage to this initiative and it has been promoted as a good practice among the other Egyptian NGOs.<\/p>\n<p>The participants to the Fourth Forum of the NGOs in Official Partnership with the UNESCO particularly appreciated the innovation of this project: it looks at the woman involved as foundamental partners in fighting poverty; however, <strong>Shubra&#8217;s women especially demonstrated to be foundamental instruments of peace and dialogue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Which is the role of women in fighting poverty?
