The title &#8211; <strong>&#8220;Changing Minds, rather than the Climate&#8221;<\/strong>, was a clear reference to <strong>the role that NGOs can play on the climate change issue<\/strong>.<br \/><span lang=\"IT\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\"><\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<h4><span lang=\"IT\"><\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.new-humanity.org\/learning-fraternity-it\/buone-pratiche\/italia-a-padova-nasce-un-asilo-per-il-dialogo-la-solidarieta-e-la-pace\/\" class=\"doclink docman_track_download k-ui-namespace\" data-title=\"Intervention Yves Froissard 8eme Forum ONG partner UNESCO\" data-id=\"201\" data-processed=\"data-processed\"> <span class=\"k-icon-document-pdf  \"><\/span> <span class=\"k-visually-hidden\">pdf<\/span> Download the Intervention of New Humanity (French) <\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p><strong>The Forum was opened by Mrs Audrey Azouley<\/strong>, the new Director-General of UNESCO, which was a strong indication of her interest in the collaboration with the NGOs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yves Froissart, a member of New Humanity and an environmental engineer,<\/strong> took part in the first panel discussion about \u201cEthics, Solidarity and Rights for Climate Justice\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>His presentation on \u201cResponsibility and role of local players<\/strong> \u2013 that is each of us \u2013 in the fight against climate change\u201d was well received by the audience, who was taking notes during the speech.
