Carpintería reciclable e inclusión

La Plata, Argentina

From La Casita de los Pibes, which is part of the organization “Cuidadores de la Casa Comun” inspired by Pope Francis’ Laudato Si, we have been working around three axes: youth, ecology and vulnerable sectors. Within this framework, this project seeks to generate 2 or more carpentry cooperatives with recyclable wood. In La Casita, there is a carpentry workshop with 7 members, as a result of an agreement with the UNLP and the EUO. In this project, we want to open a trade course in recyclable carpentry, for the large number of vulnerable young people who are unemployed and from this course, and relying on the infrastructure offered to the organization, it would be possible that the course derives in 2 or more work cooperatives.
